Green jeans - yes or no?

Am lusting after green Boden straightleg (www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Trousers-Jeans/Jeans/WC074/Womens-Straightleg-Jeans.html) jeans for the summer, but how would you wear green jeans so that you don't look mumsy? Just not quite sure how you would pull your whole look together?! Live in Scotland so always need a jacket/cardi - colours?!

I've been looking at these also. Maybe pale pink or yellow would go.

I've got some khaki couloured skinny ones from zara that look fab. Bit greyer colour though than those ones.

Thanks - I think grey and white are also good colours to wear with green jeans. Just a bit confused over what colour jacket/cardi to wear. Won't wear green as don't want to look like the green giant/mumsy but then again don't want to burn out peoples' retinas with my bright pink mac or red jacket! Have a light brown/taupy blazer style cord jacket (looks better than it sounds!)?

According to one style book I have, coloured jeans only work on Fearne Cotton...

Khaki trousers or mid/dark grey jeans would be a better option than green... more trendy and more versatile.

Love these grey ones from non-Mumsy Diesel x
