Is it OK to wear heeled shoes with skinny jeans?

Dh is dubious. I think they look good, but have been scanning everyone's footwear today and find that no-one else is doing this. Will I look a prat?

Not at all. I wear heels with my skinny jeans. However I tend to wear either wedges or cone heels rather than a stiletto.

They look particularly good if there is some ruching at the bottom of the legs or that they sit on the top of your shoes, iyswim.

It depends on how high. I think wearing really high shoes with skinnies is ok on a night out but a bit OTT in the day.

Definitely no to court shoes or such like with them.

I wore mine last night with v high shoe boots - its just getting used to a different look I think.

Depending on the shoe it can look a tad OTT daytime but in general is very leg lengthening and we approve

I think skinny jeans only look good with heels. With flat pumps, they look studenty, but they can look nice with long flat boots, which are all the rage now.

Yes Monadami, I usually wear them with long boots which is why the shoe thing is a bit of a novelty! I am reluctant to wear with flat shoes, as I have short legs

It's absolutely OK! I think you'll see more women in heels and skinnies as it starts to get warmer.
