I am...ahem...mid thirties, 5'5" tall, a curvy size 12 with 36D boobs.

A little black dress would be great...so far I have only seen this one which is nice but maybe a little too plain?

I have the all saints dress and have to say it is amazingly flattering - looks good over boobs.. and makes me look like or at least feel like jessica rabbit rather than the humpty dumpty I am in reality

I am similar to you and had to get the 14 - mainly for my ass - the top and waist have more stretch in them so if you are more top heavy, I would get the 12..

Ok..so have ordered 2 dresses from the All Saints website to try on....any final suggestions before I max out the credit card?

So....quick update just in case anyone is interested

Ordered the All Saints dress which I lurve and looks fab on - except that the top half is too loose....the sequinned shoulder but keeps slipping off my shoulder in an annoying not a sexy way I know that if I changed it to the 12, the bottom would be too tight because the 14 fits perfectly there - gah!!!

So...back to the drawing board....more ideas please
