Where can you buy lace up plimsolls or trainers that'll pass as school gym shoes?

Ds (5) is narrow of foot and needs new plimsolls. He was flopping about in the last pair; he's tried elasticated and strap from different stores, and they just swamp him the longer he gets in the foot.

So ideally like to find him some innocuous plain black or white trainers with Velcro straps that he could manage himself would or lace-up plimsolls and we'll teach how to tie them.

Did see one pair on Amazon but once factored in the postage they were ££.

I got DD1's from Clarks as they were the only ones that didn't fit like boats! She's an E fitting and although they come in an F or G, they do fit her pretty well.

Thank you. I'll try Clarks first as would prefer ds tries them on instore but may well have to order on line.

It's the same with wellies and trousers for ds but school plimsolls/trainers had me foxed.
