Maxi dresses

I want at least two maxi dresses. I have to be able to wear them with a serious bra. They have to be cotton, silk or a breathable material (no polyester however fashionable). I like black, grey, navy, green, red at a push.

I am a size 10-12 with a 34F chest, unusually short torso and long legs.

Happy to buy on line.

I've looked at lots of places (all the High St shops, asos etc) and have had no joy.

TIA

I would have thought that they are measuring from the shoulder to get length.
Best thing to do is to wait until it arrives and try it on to see how long it is. You don't want it too long as you said as you will be cleaning floors as you go.

Thanks, happywheezer - yes, I think I won't cancel it but wait and see.

They would normally measure from the shoulder, I presume, but with halter necks I'm not sure whether they do the same thing. 132 cm would be a fairly petite maxi dress if they were measuring from the shoulder. But as you say, I don't want to be cleaning the street.
