quick Converse question...

do Converse lo-top's come up big, small, average. my shoe size is about 6 and a half.

And are there any that are deemed uncool or cooler than others?
(i feel so OLD writing that)
they all look pretty much the same to me.

I am a 7 3/4 and bought a 7. they pinch. My 8's are more comfy. I would get the next size up . In terms of cool vs naff, I like the plain coloured ones best, I have black and navy.

My local TKMaxx had some plain ones recently but I wasn't keen on the colours (dark green and purple)

I say they are pretty true to size, I kept my 6 and sometimes I can be a 6.5, but mine fit perfectly. I did read once that you have to endure a week of breaking them in, don't want them to look like canoes on your feet!

I have plain white, though am about to buy navy and red. Classic is best I reckon.

I'm a 6.5, was advised to get a 6 and they are slightly small. My next pair will be a 7

I find they're on the small side and I'd get a size up next time.

I think, colour-wise, they are all cool these days, you just have to pick a colour and style that suits you and will go with how you dress.

If you are between def get the next size up, but no need to normally.

My TKMaxx has some very cute berry ones and also nautical ones navy blue with wee anchors all over them.

I bought my first pair recently, they are so uncomfortable I was really surprised

My second pair which are a half size bigger than I normally wear, my first pair I bought in America so sizing a bit unclear, rip my feet to shreds every time I wear them. I'm gutted and I've persevered, bought heel grips in case they were rubbing because they were a little bit too big but nothing has worked. They have been consigned to the cupboard since the day I walked home from the morning school run in my socks, they were that sore!
