Accessorisize me! Please.

OK I have this dress. I want to wear it for an evening out (I know it's not exactly glam but I'm a bit fat at the mo and it's quite forgiving). I'm going to be wearing a gold necklace with it.

What colour tights/shoes/cardigan would you go for?

I think you can wear anything with it, really. You could do dark grey / black tights and then some fab shoes, maybe? Or coloured tights and plain grey or black shoes. A gold necklace sounds lovely - if I wear a necklace I generally wear plain earrings and if I wear fancier earrings, I wear no necklace.

It's such a nice shape that I wouldn't wear a cardigan.

I am mainly posting so that someone else, horrified by my suggestions, posts better advice.

I don't know what shoes I'm wearing, that's what I was asking I have black shoes but fearing dark grey dress and black shoes would be a bit dull. Running out of time to shop though. Maybe will run through a shoe shop and see what sticks.
