Lip Gloss

I've never worn lip gloss but would like to move into the 21st century! I tried some at a 'Body Shop' party last night but it was £9.50 and I really don't want to spend that much on a first-time item. Could any of you recommend a lip gloss that is inexpensive and non-sticky?!

The No 7 high shine lip gloss is really nice, not sticky but seems to stay on longer than most. It's £8.50 but Boots are doing the £5 voucher thing at the minute so if you can get one, it would only cost £3.50.

No 7 also do another type, which is similar to the Lancome Juicy Tubes. This is quite sticky though, but it stays on for hours.

I've found that you do have to pay slightly more for a decent lip gloss, the cheaper ones look good at first but they just have no staying power.

If you just want something to add a bit of shine then Carmex (I think!) do a sheer lip gloss/balm type thing with a roller ball, this looks lovely over lipstick.

Your hair will stick to your lips. You have been warned.

Haha, I agree Trillian! Especially when you've got your hands full of shopping bags!

Warning noted! Good job I've got shortish hair! Thanks, will head off to Boots.

If you're going for the No7 stuff, try the colour 'smile'. It's a lovely pink, looks lovely on it's own and gives your lips a bit of colour, but it's sheer enough to wear over a darker lipstick and just give a bit of shine
