Walk to work? What shoes do you wear?

Do you do the trainers-the-swap-when-you-get-there thing, or have you got shoes that are comfortable enough for walking? I just can't walk comfortably in heels but want to have a decent-ish walk to work in order to get a bit of exercise into my day.

I used to wear trainers and leave a couple of pairs of shoes in the office under my desk

I think folk look daft with their trainers on, tan tights and a winter coat

I cycle to work usually in wellies and waterproof trousers, then change when I get to work. Two suits on hangers in the office, also a smart winter coat, two pairs of shoes/ boots under the desk. Anything else gets carried in my bag on the bike.

Used to walk to work - very few "fashion" shoes are hardwearing enough to do and used to get dirty quickly, if not trainers then a pair of smart flatties. Used to wear a lot of Mary Janes, also had lace-up Doc Marten women's shoes.

Good luck with your walking!

I wear ballet pumps and then change into my heels in the office, I was heart broken when I lost my shoe drawer in the office to filing.

trainers, opaque tights and a winter coat here!
look daft as a brush but it sure beats crippled feet - or sensible shoes all day long
