help me to rescue my fave old holey denim jacket!

my comfiest, favorite, so old and lush its vintage denim jacket has worn thin on the elbow and is now all holey!

what can i do to save it...been looking at patches, but tbh, they look a bit shite!

any ideas?

have seen some funky red tartan heart shaped ones on ebay...also, some soft blue floral ones which would be a bit more subtle!

would you do one or both elbows?

oh just patch, it was only a plain denim one!
