Please help me accessorise my dress

I've chosen this dress (in Blue and white spots in case the link doesn't show it) for the party on Tuesday, but how the hell do I dress it up. I have a very limited (almost no) budget, and not sure what to wear with it?

Help me! Even if you could just link me to some ideas that I could try and replicate Primark stylee. I'm going to need at least a cardi, some shoes, and jewellery.

I can't decide whether to accessorise with cream/white or go a bit red, white and blue and add a red belt (which I already have).

What other colours would go?

Red shoes
Red lips or hair accessory
Pearl necklace

Can't help with cardi I'm afraid... I hate them!! (but would probably opt for a white one if pushed )

I would go for gold accessories maybe a chunky bangle but either fine chain or nothing round the neck...

The easiest (and cheapest) was accessories from Primark, so I got a silvery-white shawl (decided against cardi, but don't want to be cold), a very chunky short pearl necklace, a big pearl ring, a pearl headband (I'm debating whether or not I can get away with wearing it around my hair 'fairy' style as opposed to alice band style), and a silver chunky bangle, all for £8.50 - brill.

Couldn't find any shoes in silver, decided against red, and against cream as too weddingy, and instead blew my money on www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId= 20552&storeId=12552&categoryId=51585&parentcategoryrn=51581&productId=1619449&langId=-1 - eek, but I got 20% off as I opened a store card. Have no idea how I am going to stand in them all night, though actually with my low blood pressure and all day morning sickness I'm going to be making for the nearest chair anyway .
