what about a bum bag?

PureAsTheColdDrivenSnow · 22/02/2010 21:01

get a clutch-type bag that has a cross-body strap that's fine enough to hide in the bag.

JohnnyTwoHats · 22/02/2010 21:04

PATCDS- I always think they look a bit dowdy. Maybe it's just because my mum used to have a long strapped bag.

cyb · 22/02/2010 21:07

Don;t you just tuck in under armpit? You can still hold your pint of Bitter then

traceybath · 22/02/2010 21:53

What - sort of like the fendi baguette style of a few years back?

TrinityIsFuckingTrying · 22/02/2010 21:57

I've never owned a clutch bag
for the reason you have said
they dont seem to make sense to me
not a proper bag

but then I'm right common

PureAsTheColdDrivenSnow · 22/02/2010 22:09

dowdy?

well, was just trying to help - I meant one with a very thin strap that could be worn over your shoulder or cross-body that could be rolled up and stuffed in the bag for the majority of the time.

ChristinePrattsDog · 23/02/2010 06:35

i wonder if thin strpas cut into booswams though,.. intersting thoughts everyone

JohnnyTwoHats · 23/02/2010 09:38

diddl · 23/02/2010 11:05

Not all bags with straps cost that much!

How big are your clutch bags if they don´t fit under your arm?

HalfTermHero · 23/02/2010 22:56

If you are prepared to pay Mulberry prices then the Charlie clutch is really handy. It has a chain so can be worn over the shoulder or it unclips on one side so you can wrap it round your wrist, refasten and wear like a bracelet. Or if you prefer you can tuck the chain in the bag and just grip it under your arm like a standard clutch. I have a black one. It was expensive but it will last until the end of time (or it had better bloody well do!)and I use it time and time again.
