Anyone had good results with holistic therapy for stress/hormonal ishoos?

I have had both acupuncture and reflexology in the past for other problems, so I am just wondering if anyone has found them helpful for the above.

I seem to be in a permanent state of low level stress, and I also have irregular periods/tiredness.

I am assuming this is all down to hormones, as the GPs just fob me off and say that it can take up to two years after childbirth for things to return to normal .

Thanks
Chic

Hypnosis/meditation/focused relaxation all work very well. There are good cds available, also the 'pzizz' programme is good (has a music/hypnosis for energising and for sleeping).

Also google emotional freedom technique (think it's emofree.com off top of my head).
A good holistic massage can work wonders (look for holistic therapy rather than beauty therapy type practitioner)

reiki works wonders. I love it and it helps me me deal with stress.

Thanks .

There is a new reiki practitioner in the village so I will try that out and also look into the techniques you have suggested OMOM.
