Hi there, i am 42, with rather crepey eye-lids (worsened by threading i think). Can anyone recommend a really good eye cream? I have a dermalogica one with a slight pigment and SPF, so really just need a heavy duty anti-wrinkle cream.

I too (at 39) am starting to have this crepey eye problem ... what can be done?

No-one seems to know MissWOoWoo - we'll just have to take matters into our own hands!

c'mon old timers! tell us your crepey eye secrets ...

I use estee lauder advanced night repair eye cream in the hope it will diminish my dark circles (apparently it cures EVERYTHING eye related). I've been using it 3+ years now and feel certain it will start to have some effect soon.

I need to go into Smiths and look at the 'instyle top 100' supplement, their recommendations are usually pretty good. Vain creature that I am, if they said the creme de la mer one was the best I'd buy it!

well I've got dark circles and the start of crepey lids but thankfully no bags yet ... seeing as how you rave about it on t'other thread KerryMumbles I might just get it for the circles and see it it goes on the crepeys

crepeyness needs different treatment though I reckon, wonder if I can get myself onto a reality tv show and get free surgery!

I'm using a Guinot one at the moment. Pricey done wonders for my crepeyness.

really? which one

castlesintheair · 24/02/2010 18:14

Longue vie yeux. Think I paid about £25 on lookfantastic.com.

Also got a sample for Anti-fatigue Eye Gel which sounds appealing. Not tried it yet.

MissWooWoo · 24/02/2010 18:23

and are your crepes concealed, reduced or gone?

castlesintheair · 24/02/2010 18:29

Gone! Although, have to say they weren't that bad to begin with. But has also stopped the itching/soreness I used to get esp in evening. Crows feet improved too.

Apologies for sounding like an advert!

MissWooWoo · 24/02/2010 18:37

oooh! mine aren't that bad either, it's just that sometimes I really notice it when I put eyeshadow on - always worse when had succession of bad nights with dd.

Think I may start another thread to see if anyone else has used ...
