What would u wear on the school run?

Converse. I have several pairs, current favourite are leopard print.

Ballet flats.

Converse are passé. Only nounous wear them now...

No its not a rhetorical question, i just wondering what everyone though, as I live in ballet pumps

Big woolly socks and snow boots. And the warmest coat I can find. I am the abominable snowman hate being cold in the morning.

I wear both, but for me it's too cold to wear ballet flats, atm.

Depends - I'd only wear converse in summer anyway, and only when walking to school as I walk through countryside. On days I drive I'd go for ballets.

In winter it's wellies for walking, leather boots if driving.

The ballets are the most flattering on me, though - converse don't look right at the end of my legs.

i just cannot brook ballet pumps at all. not for me. so converse it is.

then converse twice a year in interim seasons when neither boots not birks suffice sadly. also means i have to wear jeans with them. prefer dresses and skirts but that inbetweeny bit of tights or bare legs renders the jeans and converse a necessity

I have big feet though (size 8) so need to have my feet covered a bit by trousers if I'm wearing flats otherwise I look like CoCo the Clown!

Oohhh so you are implying that nannies are daggy are you and not cool enough to wear flats?

i love ballet flats but bit too cold for them at the mo. Love converse as well but with skinny jeans they are a no no for me.
