I tried on a top and pendant in a boutique at the weekend that I loved but the top was £80 and the necklace £70.

They would have been perfect for my girls weekend away day outfit but I'd like the recreate the look for around half the price!

The top was grey, very plain, a heavy fabric, round necked neatly fitted around the bust/shoulder and flared out very gently towards the hip. It wasn't voluminous at all but had a great shape that didn't cling at all at the waist.

but this one is more sloppy-tshirty and not as elegant. I don't like the detail on the back either.

The necklace was a heart pendant on a long thick chain with a few charms, it was longer than others I've seen and the top was the perfect 'canvas' for it.

I've looked on asos/topshop/oasis etc but can't see anything like it, it must be light grey, round neck, not too short (am 5'9) and available in a 12/14.

What was the make of the top? Have you tried searching online for other stockists/ebay/sale prices? I can't find anything that looks like the kind of heavy fabric you describe. I've assumed you want short sleeves though you didn't explicitly say that, so let me know if not.

Otherwise, I've found the following possibilities:

Good colour, slight flare, not sure about the neck

Not sure about hanky hem?

More of a tunic, tbh

Not sure about the hem on this one either

Probably not fitted enough

The brand was Oska, have never seen it before.

Was the necklace silver/gold/stone/glass etc? How long was it- where do you want it to sit?
