Just wondered.

I sort of like it because I've got very thin hair and I can brush it forward, round the band and it seems fuller.

this sort of size band very thin.

But I am loathe to wear it out of the house because I fear it looks ridiculous.

And I know I can count on you lot to give it to me straight

Stupid or not?

i think it can look nice.

I'm thirty and wear headbands all the time. Six years isn't much different so I say go for it. I too have thin hair.

Seems alright. As long as you don't venture into padded velvet headbands a 'la sloan ranger, you'll be fine.

I think they look nice provided you don't do a princess anne pouffy bit with it - that was my favoured look many many years ago

BariatricObama · 21/02/2010 19:19

yes do not wear striped shirts with the colour turned up and coloured jeans

MrsBadger · 21/02/2010 19:20

I wear elasticated ones thus or similar all the time in a slightly preppy Charlotte-from-SATC way

Thank you. So. The thinking is I should give it a go

If I step outside and everyone points and laughs, I shall blame you lot, you know!
