She looks pregnant in the second one. Having popped two DC out in fairly quick succession, that's a look I try to avoid these days!

Why does she stand in a strange way every week? The pigeon toe business?

I honestly think that page is to make everyone feel better about themselves. She always looks grubby (not in a sexy way!) and rather hacked off.
