Sorry - can I ask about Duo boots once more?

Does anyone know if the Etienne boots are generous in the foot? I am a size 6 usually but have had a 5 in the Bern boots. I am thinking the Etienne might be similar to these?

DK re Etiennes. I phoned DUo to ask re sizing before ordering mine and they said to get a size smaller (41) than I usually wear (42). I would call them. They are very helpful. Cheers.

Thanks, that's really helpful

(Sorry I didn't make that clear, I didn't order Etiennes, don't know re them, ordered another pair but was told to order down)

i ordered etiennes and needed to send back for next size up as found them very narrow in the foot. so ended up with bigger shoe size 42 instead of 41 and smaller calf size.

I tried them in the shop and found then very big- got Oristano instead and had to size down in those from 38 to 37.

They are v helpful. I ordered three pairs recently - Macerata (?) Toledo and something else. The Toledo were great - v tight fitting but the Macerata ones were too big all over. I spoke to them and swapped for a size smaller (shoe) and two sizes smaller (calf) but I still felt they were a bad fit so they are going bad. Very sad about this as I thought I would like the style but I don't think that it helps that the foot is so reinforced - like a Chelsea/riding boot - and the ankle leather is very soft.
