Are these two dresses (ebay) the same dress?

The first one has been presented with a full petticoat underneath.

I can't work out if the second one is the same only with the ties tied round the front instead of the back?

dress one

dress two

this red dress is the same as teh first dress but has a back view too.

help? there's a big price difference but I prefer the first one and am not sure if that's just because of the petticoat underneath.

looks like the same dress to me.

TrillianAstra · 19/02/2010 15:47

Parts of the bodice look a bit different.

Could you email both sellers and ask them what the label says? Same label = same dress.

DuelingFanjo · 19/02/2010 15:47

Am not sure if the neckline is different, if the second one is kind of wrap around on the bust?

it looks the same to me just a better picture on the one with the dummy. The one on the dummy is not being sold with the petticoat.

There does look to be more fabric in the skirt on the more ££ one but it could just be a crap picture on the cheaper one. I love the underskirted look but would struggle to wear it I think unless to a wedding or the races or something. I think it looks great.

Great advice!

Looks like the same dress just a less flattering picture in the second one.

dexter73 · 19/02/2010 15:52

I think it is the same dress. On the first one the waist tie is done up at the back and the straps are set further apart on the shoulders, and in the second the waist tie is done up at the front and the straps are just straight.

DuelingFanjo · 19/02/2010 15:53

I think they are possibly made by the first seller, all the dresses she sells are that kind of style really.

hmmm.. I might risk it and get the cheaper one because I really eally want this one too and can't afford both at that higher price.

The dress with the yellow flowers is lovely, bet you will get lots of compliments in it.

NomDePlume · 19/02/2010 16:03

the yellow flowers one is nicer and more unusual imo.

Blackduck · 19/02/2010 16:05

They look the same to me - just belt tied at front in one and at the back in the other.....

TrillianAstra · 19/02/2010 19:08

The yellow one is lovely.

DuelingFanjo · 19/02/2010 19:24

Thanks all, maybe I will just buy the one with the yellow flowers.

green dress = the same
red rdess = much nicer than the green one, if you are a 'red' person

the big yellow flowers one looks lovely!

DuelingFanjo · 19/02/2010 20:02

ok, more confusion. this is the same red dress isn't it?

It might be the same dress but it isn't the same actual dress.

One has one and a half circles/flowers across the bust line, the other doesn't.
