I have found exactly what I need to go with my '50s style dress - here

but I need it in white/off-white/cream.

Can you fashionistas lend a hand and find me the perfect headpiece? The wedding is in 7 weeks.

Thank you so much! I desperately want this!!

the price on request ones are expensive but not out of this world expensive: here?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 21/02/2010 17:59

FAB dress Foxy!!!!!!!!

I like the Sheena Holland ones that meep linked to. Especially the 2nd row, 3rd from left and 3rd row, 2nd from left.

Moneyspider · 21/02/2010 20:40

Exactly, meep. Not sure why Sheena does the whole price on request thing- puts people off.

LackaDAISYcal · 21/02/2010 22:14

gorgeous dress foxy . Is that your actual dress? If so, I am very of your teeny nipped in waist!

off to try and find some fripperies for you!

LackaDAISYcal · 21/02/2010 22:19

Is this too full on?

LackaDAISYcal · 21/02/2010 22:24

could you have something made locally that is similar to the Monsoon one? Or is there not enough time?

Ohforfoxsake · 22/02/2010 14:29

That's a bit Moulin Rouge Daisy!

Maybe something a bit flatter?

Nipped in waist? Big up-to-tits knickers actually. Poor DP. He will be disappointed

Those Sheena Holland hairbands are just lovely. And the prices are in the comments. Bit more than I want to spend, but I'm going to keep an eye on them.

Ohforfoxsake

My Mum is a professional milliner, and could quite easily make one for you, at a reasonable price.

[whispers] she could even make one very like the Sheena Holland ones for you.

The hat company she works for is probably going to close at Easter, and been thinking of her starting her own business .

Please email me at [email protected] if you're interested. It may help if you can send some links of headwear you've seen you like, and I can pass it on to her.

Ohforfoxsake · 22/02/2010 14:58

Thank you Moonmother. I have emailed you

Aww Shucks

We're off out today to get the last of the bits for it -[excited]

Chiechie · 16/04/2010 23:17

As much as she feels flattered you want your mum to copy her work I will warn you sheena hollands headbands are design written, trademarked and protected. If you wish to copy her go ahead but don't post it on the world wide web for all and sundry and please don't expect a successful business out of doing this as you will always be a step behind the best and quite possibly sued.
(Whispers) maybe sheena hasn't read this... But maybe she did!
