makeover - in the makeup sense

I need help - but I have fair skin and don't want to be made into an orange plastic girls world looking thing. The problem is, I need new everything really - it is not just trying out new eyeliner or something, the whole thing needs a drastic overhaul. Can anyone suggest how best to find the right look?

go to boots/debenhams/ect and ask for a makeover at the make-up counters. they should be able to sort you out with the right stuff and show you how to apply it properly . .
