Your favourite hair dyes

I'm nearly 37 and have recently found many and I mean MANY grey hairs in my brunette head !!!!
I'm a bit skint at the moment and can't really justify forking out a small fortune at the hairdressers.
When I've looked for hair dyes in the shops I'm overwhelmed by the choice. What are your favourite buys and are they any good ????
I have dyed my hair before in my much younger days, when I fancied a bit of a change (nothing drastic though) but I need a dye that gives good grey coverage.
Please help an ageing old lady

I've used clairol nice and easy for years. Happy with the results, although it is a bit time consuming.

Just tried the Perfect 10 one this weekend, the colour doesn't seem as rich in tones, but it was a lot quicker and it's fine at the moment.
