Ive been looking online manically.

I cant find anything i like
I need something low cut, to make the best of good boobs, but tummy skimming ( to hide flab).

SIze 14.

I do not want some 80's cropped thing, nor some floral blouse type thing. I need to look very sexy, but not cheap or tarty.

Please help

Here if you are rich

Igglybuff · 15/02/2010 16:23

What's the occasion?

confidencecrisis · 15/02/2010 16:29

girls night out
not rich
£40 max

i quite like some of the nude things that are about. but then im going to have to buy new shoes/underwear/accessories. Dont really want to do that.

Of course, i could always wear something ive already got. Ive got a really nice matthew williamson top that ive only worn a few times. But thats not the point. I WANT SOMETHING NEW.

Just looked at topshop... i feel old.
im 30.

Igglybuff · 15/02/2010 16:32

this

this

nice black shirt

Igglybuff · 15/02/2010 16:34

Mmm not sure my links worked! There are some nice short sleeved black frilly shirts which are low cut but skim the tummy.

What about you spend the money on new accessories instead?

brimfull · 15/02/2010 16:34

wrap top

confidencecrisis · 15/02/2010 16:37

no.
id feel old in those. SOrry

I think its because all the summer stuff is coming out, yet its still snowy and cold. The stuff in the shops is just wrong.

PLus, i look quite a bit younger than i am. but i am not going to wear a lace body or lace cropped top which is what appears to be in the shops. Batwing jumpers, yes fine, hell, i even wear leggings. BUT im not wearing those hideous 'bodys' again!

janeite · 15/02/2010 16:41

What shops do you usually like? And what will you be wearing said top with?

brimfull · 15/02/2010 16:45

confidencecrisis · 15/02/2010 16:45

brimfull · 15/02/2010 16:47

hahaha
Are we right confidencecrisis ?

janeite · 15/02/2010 16:47

God no - step away from Jane Norman.

GreatOrmondSt · 15/02/2010 16:51

what about this with a belt underneath your bust, thus enhancing your assets www.asos.com/Asos/Asos-Longline-Off-Shoulder-Bow-Top/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=983390&cid=4169&sh=0&p ge=3&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Black

I'm not sure about you but I've always had a bit of a tum so know all the tricks to hide it well!

confidencecrisis · 15/02/2010 16:52

no - not jane norman!!!!!!
i thought jane norman was for 16 year old girls. with blonde hair and playboy bunny pencil cases?

no - im a little bit classier than that!

lol

Im going to go have a look in town tomorrow. See if i can either find something i like in a boutique type shop. or just give up and wear the mw top.

OP posts:
DebiNewberry · 15/02/2010 16:53

Cos maybe? I'm not sure if they are online.

Definitely nothing floral in there as far as i remember.

confidencecrisis · 15/02/2010 16:55

gtormd - yeah i do like that.
Prob is my boobs are ridicolusly high and quite large. So they would most likely sit in the wrong place in that top. I like slash neck tops or tops like that, just sit dont sit right on me.
I need V neck type things.

OP posts:
janeite · 15/02/2010 16:56

Cos pretty dreadful for norks, on the times I've looked. Lots of beautiful clothes but designed to be worn by ironing boards.

Warehouse sometimes has nice tops shaped for curves.

GreatOrmondSt · 15/02/2010 16:58

ok I'll keep looking..........give me 5 mins

confidencecrisis · 15/02/2010 16:59

im a 36dd so def quite 'booby'
plus, like i said, they sit quite high up.
So all these cropped top, floaty numbers than hang from the boobs are just no good for me at all.

OP posts:
brimfull · 15/02/2010 17:00

ok read you completely wrong
how about all saints

GreatOrmondSt · 15/02/2010 17:01

what about this? with some skinny jeans and high heels...

www.warehouse.co.uk/fcp/product/fashion/Smart-Tops/cropped-embellished-tee/299056

confidencecrisis · 15/02/2010 17:01

i did wonder if this:
www.asos.com/Asos-Chiffon-Babydoll-Top/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=927691&cid=4169&Rf100= 1005&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Nude
might be a comprimise, but im not sure
with black skinnys and high strappy shoes?

OP posts:
brimfull · 15/02/2010 17:02
