Cos I know that I will feel that I should buy something, and will be better having a plan than sitting with a load of women I don't know frantically flicking through a catalogue trying to not waste money.

V pale combination skin, greeny grey eyes, reddish hair (pics on profile if you want) if that helps. Not a daily makeup wearer, but do need to wear it for work occasions, so will use up most things if they are good

Not a big fan of Virgin Vie makeup, but this is great. I get a rash from YSL Touche Eclat, but this does the job just as well.

I'ts all a bit overpriced in my opinion, but their eyeshadows are good - they used to do a palette in a purple satin box for about £15 that I've been using for the past four years. Also their cushions are nice.

Not a huge fan of their make up, have bought a lot over the years but only thing I truly liked and have used is the bronzer. I do like their homeware tho, have bought cups/mugs and they have lasted really well so cost justified (£5 each ) and also bedding which again is lovely, but expensive, know what you mean, you kind of "have" to buy something if at the party.

The rep did a mini facial on me when I went to one and it BURNED, she had to take it all off immediately! Needless to say I didn't buy anything although a friend swears by their Botox moisturiser.
