EccentricaGallumbits · 14/02/2010 20:21

SixtyFootDoll · 14/02/2010 20:22

will be about as cool as a hot potato

Northernlurker · 14/02/2010 20:24

Does that mean the childrens range won't go beyond 10 anymore?

Dd just snorted when I told her about it!

Ingles2 · 14/02/2010 20:34

well I for one, am thrilled... I've got a 10yr old ds who is now about 160cm tall with size 6.5 feet.... He's not a skinny rake either.
He doesn't like H&M, no other high street fits and lots of it isn't suitable anyway..
We went through mini boden recently to see if there was anything he liked , but he's just too old (and cool iho) to wear applique tops that are also in baby sizes,

simbo · 15/02/2010 07:28

I think it will be very popular with the younger end of the age range as I know a lot of girls who are big for their age (ie 10/11) and who struggle to find appropriate clothes. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a hit with smaller Mummies too!

SueW · 15/02/2010 07:57

I think 9yos will like it

11yo will want Jack Wills/Hollister/A&F

MaineGirl · 15/02/2010 11:54

yes am disapointed as my 12 yr ds said no way, hes firmly stuck in the aber/jack wills cliche, but my 8 yr ds (who wears 9-10) said it looks good.

23skidoo · 15/02/2010 17:53

As a 16yr old I died a little inside looking at that stuff. Just go to new look/primark/topshop(for treats) for teen clothes, Boden stuff is a revolting uniform anyhows.

ForestFire · 15/02/2010 17:54

what stuff?
its not online yet

I can't see teens wearing sweats emblazoned with "Boden" in same way they're happy to have em emblazoned "jack wills". The style's too close to break into the preppy look market I'd have thought.

Otherwise dd and friends are into New Look/topshop/Primark when out shopping themselves - Jack W requests for birthdays and christmas only
