quite nice but I would be concerned about armpit chafing if worn on the shoulder, or will you be wearing on a permanently bent elbow a la barbie?

(tk maxx fab for bargain bags btw)

MamaG · 14/02/2010 14:20

well it IS cheap!

OP posts:
MamaG · 14/02/2010 14:23

vg point re armpit chafage - to be avoided at all costs, as is barbie-hold

Am laughing at the pose.. not sure thats entirely needed.

Bag looks nice enough (not sure about the tag would be tempted to ditch that)

The Chaplier link is just sending me to the home page (or has it got a auto selector to deny access to plebs?)

MamaG · 14/02/2010 14:26

cheap I'm afraid

i can't justify spending ~££ on a bag (to myself IYKWIM)

I can NOT afford £85 on a bag right now. I have a £30 next voucher and a £50 M&S voucher and could possibly streetch to about £20 cash

wordsonascreen · 14/02/2010 14:28

I like this .. but might not be big enough

but then I'm a sucker for a green bag

MamaG · 14/02/2010 14:29

I don't like the flower, or the ruching

MadreInglese · 14/02/2010 14:30

It's the shineyness of that bag that gives it cheap effect, you might be better with a matt one

IIRC you are ooop north near me now, no? We have a FAB TK Maxx, with a bit of a rummage I always find lush bags in there for easily under £20

Hmm I'm not keeno n taht TBH

It's the contrast between mat bag and shiny straps I think

I kno, I know I'm a pain

Yes there's a TK Maxx near work, I should go rummage

OP posts:
MamaG · 14/02/2010 14:33

The thing with TK maxx for me though is that I have NEVER bought from there, not anything.

i just gaze at the racks and racks of somewhat dodgy stuff and then leave, quickly!

Bag preference is such a personal thing though IMO, I love bags but am super fussy

I have to have a good feel of a bag, and check out the pockets/sections/compartments, and most importantly 'try it on' (in the mirror if poss)

Ah, it is an acquired taste, you have you be in the right mood for TK Maxx (I often cannot be arsed) and once you break through the pain to your eyes of some of the hideous 'fashion' items you can find some real gems
