I would like something that feels like a luxury but is reasonably priced (less than about 8 squid a bottle). Am currently using a Ted Baker one but it's a bit mediocre. I like the old lady-ish horse chestnutty one in the green bottle. Radox for whn I'm skint. Can anybody rec a mid-line one that feels 'special' please?

And its very silky feeling - not drying at all .

Think they probably stock it in HoF - will have a look. But will get some Botanics stuff as well.

Not bubbles, but Holland and Barrett sell Dead Sea salts for £3.50 a box.

I love a hot bath using those, followed by wrapping myself in a towel to sweat it out, then a lukewarm shower. Detox on the cheap!

Sanex bath & shower gels are good for everyday use, the original one has a lovely fresh air kind of smell to it.

I like Dead Sea Salts. Don't like the smell of Sanex, at all, at all. Gah.

Sadly this is something of a wild goose chase, but I got a bottle of this last week and tried it out on Thursday night - it is truly wonderful, but unfortunately appears to be being discontinued by the nice Body Shop folks.

However if you have a Body Shop locally, get yourself down there presto pronto as this stuff is down to £3 a bottle in the sale and worth 3 times the price - honest. You skin will be soooooo silky soft, body lotion will not be required.

I used to love a bubble bath that was called 'Smaragadine Phyto Foam'. Had to send away for it but I cant find it anywhere now. There was just nothing that smelled like it and it used to linger on your skin for hours.

wedgiesaurus, that was made by B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful, who have since been reabsorbed into their parent company Lush because they weren't making a profit. I know because I used to get my perfume from them, but no longer
