For Valentines he is taking DS and me for a pub meal while the rugby is on. he has asked me what I want for Valentines. It needs to be around £15 -£20. I've gone a blank (I want him spend a lot more than that but can't) I don't want to try any thing on.
I know I'm an odd woman but I hate shopping but love lovely clothes and bits. He'll be home at 12.30pm Whats should I say?

for £20 this is what i would want right now (not clothes)
2 good books
big bag of crisps
bottle of bubbly (£20 budget a good bottle of fizzy wine would do me)
dh and i only do cards and he always cooks me a nice dinner

Don't really have time to read real books.
Drank lots yesterday. On a mini diet.

hmmm no good then how about the shoes ijust posted on here?

Blackduck · 13/02/2010 12:20

Sorry if he can't come up with something himself I wouldn't want anything....what's the point?

cocolepew · 13/02/2010 12:21

I'd take the cash, having to tell him what you want defeats the purpose a bit.

cocolepew · 13/02/2010 12:21

oh blackduck beat me

Starbear · 13/02/2010 12:22

I need cheering up. That's the point otherwise we are going to have a row!!!!

could he book you in to have a mini facial or something?

cocolepew · 13/02/2010 12:25

Can't you go for the meal too?

mothersmilk · 13/02/2010 12:25

ask him to buy you a piece of clothing he'd like to see you in? (not undies too easy) he could pick something lovely or it could just end up making you laugh then just take it back and get something you want

Starbear · 13/02/2010 12:26
