Boots virgin

Ladies, need your help. I have always been a 'trainers' kind of girl, but at 38 am now trying to smarten myself up a bit (better late than never, eh!). Quite liked the look of these boots ...but not sure re a couple of things. Am guessing they would be totally unsuitable to wear at work? My work environment is a semi formal kind of place - no trainers or t shirts but pretty much anything else goes. For casual wear, since the boots are brown, can i wear them with black tops and dark blue denim jeans?

Forgot to add, I am 5'3", short legs, and pear shaped - small bust, small (but a bit flabby ) waist, largish bum n thighs. Please help me design a 'look' - formal and/or casual around these. Links to pics would be much appreciated!

They are pretty good for a 1st pair I think. I'd wear them with trosers but not skirts. I think with jeans would be fine but I'm not sure about teh black top (unles maybe you had some brown jewellery on). I think in the type of workplace you discribed they would be fine with trousers.

so brown boots only with brown top/ jacket/ accessories? hmmm am not sure brown really suits me, like bright colours or black, maybe am better off looking for black boots then?
