Next 'older girls' school shoes

Pixie, she wears Clarkes "Mary-Janes" now, so I guess more of the same for now.

But Mary-Janes and pumps are rubbish in bad weather, which we seem to be getting a lot of now...

Does anyones DD wear Kickers?

start-rite and clarks do nice mary-janes with good elastic on them so they fit well. I buy them in the sale - usually about July time online.

Black ballet shoes are the only acceptable shoes at my dd's school. All the girls wear them. They are rubbish in wet weather but she would rather get wet feet than wear 'sensible' shoes.

You are right about it being a different world to primary school Pixie! My dd doesn't wear a coat either, not even when it snowed! I think they are so keen to fit in and wear what everyone else is wearing, so even though the crap shoes and no coat annoys me, it is not something I would try to argue about.
