Your mission ladies, should you choose to accept it, is to find me my perfect boots!

I have been looking for my perfect winter boots for months and despite trawling both the shops and the internet I still haven't found them!

They need to be brown leather, knee high, no fancy detail, and a small wedge heal about a couple of inches max. My maxium budget is £100 but I'm hoping to spend a lot less.

Sounds simple but I am very particular when it comes to boots!

If you can find me a pair I will love you forever!

why a wedge? That narrows the field considerably

memoo · 11/02/2010 16:11

Don't really do heels so a wedge is as close as I get.

I just bought these and they are so comfy and lovely (although not wedge - but better honestly!)

these

You can wear them pulled up as in the pic or slouched down a bit. Had billions of complements already.

Cyb · 11/02/2010 16:14

hmm, not sure about these

iggypiggy · 11/02/2010 16:19

Not a wedge - but I just bought these and they are lovely: duo boots

You might find some others ont he site - not in the sale that are wedge? You need to measure your calf at the widest point tho. But they are fab cos they fit perfectly then.

Cyb · 11/02/2010 16:21

I think you are going to get a lot of posts that start 'Not a wedge, but....'

memoo · 11/02/2010 16:22

They are all lovely but not quite right. I am so fussy I know!

Haven't you tried the mumsnet favourite fly london mols?. I bought mine from this website and they were great. I adore these boots, they are the best I've ever had and serve the purpose of running around town with toddlers in tow.

iggypiggy · 11/02/2010 16:26
