wristwarmers: a need, not a want!

especially when wearing 3/4 sleeve jumper and a coat with loose cuffs.

in desperation this morning I lopped the toe end off of a pair of very lovely but very tight (real wool washed too vigourously) navy blue socks.

Toe end worn up the arm, neat ankle "cuff" worn just below the wrist, heel tucked back in on itself. You'd never know they were imposter wristwarmers.

How's that for thrifty!

dd used to wear leg warmers as a baby. I dug them out of the cupboard during the cold snap in January and used them as wrist warmers...they havent' left my wrists since

MissWooWoo · 10/02/2010 20:02

wouldn't mind the poncy Brora ones for £££s though . wouldn't mind at all.
