After years of not seeing the attraction of Boden ...

I've seen quite a few things that I like in the catalogue that dropped through my door yesterday. A few tops and dresses for me (none of the ones with with "fun" in the name naturally ), loads for DD in really good colours for her and even some stuff for DS.

Should I just sit tight and trust that the feeling will go away or should I dive in and order some clothes? I've always had the impression that their clothes are better suited to the classic English pear-shape, whereas I have strong shoulders, a torso best described as hefty and narrow hips. Will I look like apple dressed as pear?

the trousers seem to be suited to pear-y women -I find them 'hippy' and won't order them anymore. I have medium chest and broad shoulders and the tops seem to fit pretty well. Read the reviews under the things you like-they're quite helpful !

The dresses are odd lengths. Long ones way too long. Shorter styles at a very dated just-above-knee length and funny shape. Look absolutely hideous if you are tall.

I have tried to love Boden but have always ended up sending stuff back or eventually Ebaying it.

Boo.

they do some lovely things but not overly impressed ith the new collections . Remember XNHT gets you £10 off if you spend £30 or over and PR11 gets 20% off anything(spring as well as summer) and free postage and returns for both

PR11 doesn;t work well didn't for the order i was going to place this evening of mainly spring collection, so am off looking for better code than 10%

I got the mini-boden catalogue today, and I was tempted to start a thread.

I want to buy loads for dd and ds. It has been years since I have bought anything from there (at least 4), I wonder if the sizing has changed much, my dd (8.6yrs), is quite small for her age.
