Any thoughts on this. I need something slimming, simple and black.

I'm a 10-12 with a 34F chest and plan to wear it with studded shoeboots.

TIA.

looks bulky to me sorry.

i would try a shift dress

Dirtgirl · 10/02/2010 10:57

I think it would look too blousey on the top and make you look top heavy.

sweetheart · 10/02/2010 11:58

I don't think it would be slimming either - although it depends what you are trying to slim! It's too bellowey to be slimming, I think you need somethign tighter with a feature that draws the eye away from the area you are trying to disguise.

No.

MadameCastafiore · 10/02/2010 12:03

Not something you should wear if you have big boobs IMO.

MadameCastafiore · 10/02/2010 12:04

Looks like something Letitia Dean would wear!

thelunar66 · 10/02/2010 12:06

It's horrible, sorry.

BonjourIvressedeNoel · 10/02/2010 12:08

they have lots of lbds on the marks website

Cranreuch · 10/02/2010 12:14

monkeysmama, do you need it for a certain occasion? I think with your norkage you need something more fitted on top, for it to be slimming, at least empire line maybe?

Does it have to be black?

Cranreuch · 10/02/2010 12:53

this is a good shape, do you want something more formal/tailored/plain?

Cranreuch · 10/02/2010 12:58

john lewis quit fitted/formal.

Cranreuch · 10/02/2010 13:03

Reiss day dress.

Cranreuch · 10/02/2010 13:19

Busy pattern but flattering style

Cranreuch · 10/02/2010 13:21

simple

Cranreuch · 10/02/2010 13:24

I like this one. I think it would be good with shoe boots.

monkeysmama · 10/02/2010 16:43

Thanks for all the suggestions Cranreuch - I am going to order the Reiss one and see what it looks like on. I looked at Reiss dresses but must've missed it. Good call! (I need it for a a Chef's table lunch at Claridges and a dinner in a few weeks)

Letitia Dean made me smile. My style icon.
