Please help me find a top to go with this skirt. Who's up for the challenge.?

I have just bought this skirt on ebay for a family wedding but I am now totally stuck as to what top to wear with it. I have a brown hat and shoes that will go lovely but no idea what colour /style to pair it with for a top. Please help!

Cream, definitely not white, has a vintage look to it. Either a blouse chiffon type but fitted if it suits you, or Cami with jacket but vintage look not too modern. Little cropped Chanel style or 3/4 sleeve length jacket would look nice

I have held up the skirt lining which is green but doesn't work with it. Maybe a darker green though?

must be thinking along the same lines. Had already looked at that green blouse. I think it's too pale, because of the brown netting it actually looks a lot darker.

like the idea of a bustier, could I get away with a bolero cardi or wourld it have to be a shawl?

I would go for a pash - they have them in every colour known to man so you can match to the green layer in the skirt - a cool way to wear it for the day is across the back of your shoulders like normal then tuck the ends back under your arms and tie at the back - makes a bolero shape from the wrap
