They're OK, I wouldn't buy them for me.

brimfull · 09/02/2010 14:26

these r nice if not in red

Chatalot, I did go through a bright pink clog stage as was known as the salt with the pink clogs.....

I dress smarter these days at work as older so can't get away with it.

Fantastic link.
I will be going around muttering 'Sccccccchhhhweden clogs' all day. So pleasing to say.

I've ordered 'em.
They'll be here on Friday.

Groovy.

I like - but would wear with jeans - which may defeat object of getting them instead of boots with similar shaped toe & heel. OWW inserts a 'not very helpful' smiley here!

noddyholder · 09/02/2010 14:48

They would look great with tights and a skirt/dress too.

onlyjoinedforoffers · 09/02/2010 14:49

i like them very school disco circa 1977

Chandon · 09/02/2010 15:11

"Cool Clarks Sandals" is surely an oxymoron

Clarks shoes are never cool, sorry.

they look comfy though.

campocaro · 09/02/2010 15:22

I had Swedish Blue suede clogs in the 70s.I adored them. I might just order some off the Swedish site. Thanks!

tethersend · 09/02/2010 16:43

Arrgghhh. They were my secret shoes.

Yes, yes, they are fab.

Cyb · 09/02/2010 16:46

I like parts of them...but theres something NOt quite right...toe a bit too closed in? or maybe its the woven leather bits n the toes.

Like Marks, Clarks often miss the point ever so slightly....

GrimmaTheNome · 09/02/2010 16:48

I had something like that late 70s. (77 was surely wedges, following on from platforms).

I'm so glad I did that the first time round and don't have to do it again - I'd break my leg if I tried to walk in 70s shoes now!

Buda · 09/02/2010 16:49

I like them. I think I had some quite similar a couple of years ago. OK then - I had some in the 70s. I am that old.

I wanted clogs SO badly but my dad wouldn't let me have them so I used to 'borrow' my best friend's sister's clogs! I am sure she hated me!

southeastastra · 09/02/2010 17:21

everytime i view the clarkes site, i buy something. their have quite a few fab designs. not sure about the one in op though.

MaineGirl · 09/02/2010 19:15
