I have bought 8

No, I'm not a centipede.

wtf.

However they were all in the sale. I appear to responsible for that 0.1% growth in the economy all on my own

None. Am having a problem in that my current pair of boots appears to be falling apart but need to find some way of keeping them together .

You're not a size 7 and having a need to get rid of some boots are you ?

PrettyCandles · 08/02/2010 10:50

2

Both in the sale, and both at the limit of what I would pay for non-sale. But I adore them, particularly the fire-engine red ones!

Tortoise · 08/02/2010 10:52

None. Despite wanting to buy some, just haven't had the money to buy any. boots are just so expensive!

Francagoestohollywood · 08/02/2010 11:06

I got 1 pair of Ugg boots for Christmas. I know they are frowned upon, but they've been fantastic in this cold winter weather!

WeNeedToLeaveInFiveMinutes · 08/02/2010 11:07

None! Last year's boots and a four year old pair doing the job well. But will be buying new black boots when I can afford the perfect pair.

PuppyMonkey · 08/02/2010 11:09

Four pairs here. One suede pair I have hardly even worn, some Uggs which I never take off, one smart/sensible pair for work and one cheap pair from Tesco's (so they don't count ). Have stopped now cos no money.

Spring soon, need some new summer shoes now.

Pinkmarshmallow · 08/02/2010 14:29

I bought a new brown pair this winter. Have needed new ones for the last 2 yrs but I'm fussy and couldn't find the perfect pair so was over the moon to find some....on sale too! The last brown pair lasted about 4 yrs.

I bought a pair in the Toast sale that are really sturdy, bad-weather boots. I wish I'd had them when it was snowy. I'm still wearing two pairs of boots from last year and shoes occasionally.

I find it hard to buy boots and shoes as I have quite wide feet.

LetThemEatCake · 08/02/2010 15:09

about 5 I think, not counting wellies, sheepskin and high-top trainers. None of them were quite right, so ended up selling them all on, bar one pair (the cheapest incidentally - typical!!) So now I just have them and a well-loved pair that I bought 16 years ago. And some black patent ankle boots. Plus wellies, sheepskins etc

Oumasrusks · 08/02/2010 15:19

I bought three pairs but have only worn one of them!

tassisssss · 09/02/2010 19:58

One pair - brown and flat from tesco. I think they were reduced to £28 from £35 and were EXACTLY what I'd been searching the high st for!

Cyb · 09/02/2010 20:01

One pair of sheepskin lined fryes from TK MAxx

One pair of grey leather shoe boots from bhs toast

aarghhelp · 09/02/2010 20:05

I bought 3.

One pair in Clarks sale £20.99

One pair in Toast sale, black suede, not terribly practical, but DH enthusiastic , £74 from £245.

And some £40 Talamores from Duo.

But I'm not planning to get any more next year.

I have also been wearing over-knee boots that are ?12 years old from when it was last fashionable and "trouser boots" from M and S that are God knows how old and pretending they are shoe boots

Meglet · 09/02/2010 20:06

None.

But got new boots for Xmas present .

bibbitybobbityhat · 09/02/2010 20:07

None.

I bought a pair of boots last year from Russell & Bromley £155.

sungirltan · 09/02/2010 20:08

none - too depressed about baby fat to go shopping.

btw whats wrong with uggs?

nancydrewrocks · 09/02/2010 20:17

One pair of totally what I was looking for slouchy leather boots from faith. Fab.

However I have only been in the UK for two weeks so plenty of time!

crankytwanky · 09/02/2010 20:30

None but DH bought me some Steve Madden ones t'other day, coz he's lovely.

I need some pull-on boots though. My belly's too big to be reaching down to zips.

(Bought lots of cheap shoes though. £5 new-look pump jobbies.
