...for a function thing I have to go to in a few months (planning ahead).

It will be in the daytime, not too dressy, but is quite a big deal, garden party rather than wedding dressiness I think. Everyone there will be a lot younger and funkier than me too.

I am scared of being overdressed (definitely nothing shiney), but equally scared of underdressing. I also need to look fabulous, obviously

I somehow need to manage funky, interesting, laid back elegance with a quirky chic twist, alluring, but not tarty. Easy huh?!

I had a posher do to go to last year with the same people and wore almost this but a slightly different version, which someone on here found for me. It was a big hit, loads of people loved it and I feel a tad under pressure to produce the goods again!

I could wear it again I guess, but I fear I would be too dressed up, and of course eveyone would recognise it.

I should wait until the summer stuff is out, shouldn't I? Ease my nerves and give me some ideas anyway?

Something vintage looking would be good I think?

this with a dark grey blazer with the sleeves rolled up and really high funky gladiator sandals??

I love that dress, I think it's too much for this do with the bling though, and I'm not sure I can wear such a dark colour in the daytime, I am v pale redhead and fake tan looks odd on me.

I think the sandals are a good idea though, good mixture of dressed up/not dressed up. Wedges too.

Yes, I guess so
I love that jumpsuit and it would be good wouldn't it. Didn't someone buy it on here?

Mind you, if I wear that I will be forever known as jumpsuit lady ((wonders if this is such a bad thing))
