Please help me update DH's wardrobe!

Ladies, a challenge for you! My poor DH is desperately in need of a wardrobe makeover. He is 43, 6 feet tall, slim build, long legs, short black hair.

He currently lives in over-sized fleeces and rather boring t-shirts/trousers and can look a bit nerdy (harsh but true!).

He has agreed to invest some of his hard earned cash on updating his wardrobe, but we could really do with some ideas and advice in terms of where to start - can anyone help?

My DH is in the forces and lives in a uniform all week so at the w/e shoves on some jeans and a t-shirt. He moans at me if I offer to update his wardobe so now, I have to just buy stuff and make him wear it.
If your DH likes the fatface/white stuff/boden look, have a look on their websites and then copy the looks.
If he's more conservative, perhaps start by buying a couple of new tops/jumpers/shirts that can be worn with trousers and jeans to give both a caaual or formal look. Will have a look online to see some styles that could work.

Looser fitting trousers will actually make his legs look less skinny although you don't want baggy or they'll make his waist look tiny in comparison.

Next bootcut jeans for men are nice too for slim blokes and they have some good value boarder type trousers.
