Where to buy skirts and dresses that fall on or just below the knee

I've been trying to buy skirts and dresses for work, but most of the ones I find in the shops all fall a couple of inches above, and it's not really appropriate for work.

I've been shopping and looking at Gap, FCUK, Warehouse, Oasis, but they are all semi-mini skirts. Where can I find slightly longer skirts that aren't super frumpy? (I'm 28. I want to look stylish).

Reiss, Kew or Jigsaw perhaps.

Someone recently linked to a lovely pencil skirt from asos.com that was on the knee...

Here it is

I have a dress from Austin Reed (in teh sale) that was on the knee too (I'm 5'6) but you're right, it's hard to find things that aren't already well above the knee, before you even try to sit down in them!

Thanks! It's really been driving me up the wall. I recently bought a dress from Gap, thought it was alright, but when I put it on it was halfway up my thigh. Not really the look I'm going for at work.

I also have this from M&S which is on the knee too. And lovely.

M&S might be worth trying though you'd have to go in person and try stuff on to filter out the frumpy stuff. They do have some kind workwear atm though (imo)
