How many rings?

Ideal pondering...

Have engagement and wedding ring on left hand obviously, and a ring that dh bought me for my birthday on the ring finger of right hand.

Have seen a couple of other beautiful "dress" rings as such, but was wondering how many was too many IYKWIM?

I dont take any of them off, and know that if I had another one I wouldnt "rotate", but dont want to looking like an aging hippy or Mr T with too many on.

What does everyine else wear?

Just my wedding ring

Wedding and engagement ring on left hand.

Chunky silver ring on fourth finger of right hand.

And sometimes a thumb ring on right hand.

I normally only wear my wedding ring.

But when going out also wear my engagement ring, plus one ring on the ring finger of my right hand - could be anything from my great-grandmother's engagement ring to a giant oversized cocktail ring.

I wear wedding and engagement rings, plus ring (band w diamonds inset) from DH on right hand (4th finger). Never take any of them off. As ring on right hand is band, sometimes stack a costume cocktail ring on top when going out. That's the limit for me.

I've got wedding, engagement and eternity on ring finger, and signet on 4th finger of right hand. Feels very weird if I take them off.

My mum wears a wedding, engagement and eternity ring on the same finger, and they look lovely together.

Blimey. I wear wedding, engagement and eternity ring on LH ring finger. Silver rings on LH index finger, RH thumb, RH middle finger and RH little finger.

Can you wear too many?

I have wedding ring and solitaire for DS1 birth on LH ring finger, and my mum's wedding ring on my RH middle finger. I wouldn't personally wear rings on more than one finger of the same hand.

I wear wedding, engagement and eternity ring on my LH ring finger all the time. Sometimes wear another ring on my RH ring finger - have a few that I choose from, Grandma's opal, present from my parents, present from DH, and a couple of chunky silver ones.

I would only wear one ring at a time on my right hand and wouldn't wear any others on my left hand.

Reckon I'm just common then

Just the one engagement ring (thin gold band with 5 rubies and 4 tiny diamonds) i always worry it would look "lost" if I wore more on the same hand, but then maybe when I have been wearing a wedding ring for 20 odd years i might get over that

Hi, I wear my wedding band and eternity ring on LH ring finger which I never take off. I wear a cocktail/costume ring on RH iff going out. I would also wear my engagement ring had I not lost it two years ago!

I'm in the same sort of position as you. I decided if I bought more, I would keep new ones for special occassions and take the right hand one off when wearing them.

mmmcoffee I used to wear one on almost every finger, except they were all dress rings and would irritate my skin.

Three only - wedding band and engagement ring I wear all the time but I sometimes wear my eternity ring instead of my engagement ring just for a change. Three together look ridiculous on my small hands.

I can't stand the feel of rings on any of my other fingers if you get me?

I'd love another ring but have as many on as the OP and feel like I can't get away with it. But am taking heart from the fact that older (elderly) women seem to be able to wear more jewellery without looking at all cheap or overdone. My Nana had quite a few more rings on her fingers and she just looked lovely. so one day...
