I've got a hankering for a lovely tea dress - anyone know of any nice ones about at the moment? Maybe even a Peter Pan collar (gasp!). Not fussy about colour.

Thanks!!

Vivien of Holloway?

Laura Ashley but quite pricey.

Talking of pricey, I got a lovely Cath Kidston one a couple of years ago but she doesn't seem to do them any more. And, as a sideline, man her clothes are frumpy if the website's anything to go by.

Dotty P

and

Dotty P as well

'Ditsy' seems to be the word du jour re. tea dresses.

That Laura Ashley dress is nice.

[Feels will to buy nothing for coming months crumbling.]

What has happened with CK? She used to be the purveyor of vintage tea dresses, it's surely her "thing", but not a tea dress in view. Just dour, frumpy, flumpy things.

Ooh, I like the DP ones, thanks Rhoda. I know what you mean about Cath though, I'm sure their stuff used to be nicer..
