I think I'm having a midlife crisis, I've just turned 35 and I'm thinking of buying this outfit (the skirt hoody combo)? I am 5ft 4" and a size 6, I'm very small frame but ...I am 35! Advice please...

if you want to look 13, go for it!

Ok

no, I don't think so - jack wills is so linked to private school teenagers.

But I think the stripy top/jeans combo next to it is nice.

Have you tried aubin & wills which is the same company but for grown ups?

Hogiabach · 04/02/2010 12:10

Ooh, thanks Pollyanna, very nice too. Will rethink my whole crisis and opt for the more mature. Thanks

Nope sorry.

Jack Wills is fine for men but woman should definitely leave it to the girls.

Bonsoir · 04/02/2010 14:03

Why would you do this to yourself? Jack Wills is very expensive for what it is and the total look does no-one over 21 any favours.

pagwatch · 04/02/2010 14:12

Jack Wills is only suitable for teenagers. Anyone else looks a total twat - and actually the teenagers look pretty daft in this unofficial uniform too

dexter73 · 04/02/2010 14:33

I think teenagers can get away with these looks because they are so young and pretty, but on a 35 year old it would look odd, regardless of how good you look for your age. You just can't compete with youth!!

Phew, I think I'm getting over my mid life crisis now - thank you sensible ladies for helping me see the light !

Same goes for Abercrombie and Hollister. Don't do it!
