DH has asked what I would like for Valentines. Am thinking of one of these but which do I choose (in silver)?

Swallow

I got the silver dragonfly for our wedding anniversary last year and have not taken it off .. was undecided between it and hummingbird at time but googled the various significances/ symbolism of each creature and went with the one that was most meaningful to me

what a lovely dh you have!

Ooh all very purdy! I'd say hummingbird- or dragonfly. Swallow is a hippy symbol and might just fly away! Agree w LTEC ab possible symbolic meaning, however they are all very lovely.

They are all lovely. I would buy the baby bee!

in silver
actually, the baby bee necklace is very sweet

They are all very pretty but I like the dragonfly and the baby bee best. Wow I have never seen this site before

Baby bee and dragonfly are gorgeous but all lovely.

This is where I got my five anniversary rings in December - really lovely jewellery - I'm getting the owl with the garnet eyes for Valentines.

traceybath · 03/02/2010 18:20

I have a baby Bea and now want the baby bee necklace - all lovely.

pinktortoise · 03/02/2010 18:38

Glad everyone likes them. Am wavering towards the Dragonfly as I think it would lay better..the hummingbird wings might stick out and get caught on everthing.

gorgeous jewellery!

I LOVE Alex Monroe jewellery but the last 2 things I got from there both broke so I reckon you're best off getting your dh to order it directly from Alex, asking him to make it specially and make it extra sturdy (he makes to order at no extra cost). You won't have it by Valentine's day though.
