has anyone else got thin eyebrows?

and if so what do you do to make them look better? i think i overplucked mine in my youth and now they just don't grow much.
they're perfectly acceptable - probably look normal really - but far from wow. i'd love to be able to shape them but there isn't really enough there to make much of a shape. they tend to look a bit scruffy because there's not enough to really work with in terms of tidying them up. any tips?

get an eyebrow pencil ( mine are from mac ) to give you a more defined shape.

dont go overboard though or you'll just look angry.

I just can't use a pencil without it looking obvious. So I try to do the Bobbi Brown thing with the powder (the v dark brown from the browns eye shadow set, with the thin end of the brush) - not very successfully I might add, but looks slightly less 'aging tart'. (well I'm sure the aging bit still applies, but ykwim).

One thing I am going to tell the DDs - never go for the 'thin brow' look, no matter how fashionable it might be at the time.

I over plucked mine and removed the thicker bit on the inner too so i didnt touch them for months until yesterday so ive got that bit back now :-) the rest is thin tho

what about permanent make up. Idon't know much about it myself,I am sure others will have info.

Mine are v sparse too. At least I don't have to pluck much more than the odd stray.

I use a fine brow pencil in a colour that's not too reddish, and you either need to sharpen it VERY often or use a twist-up one. I like Clinique, MAC are OK though they break very easily. Then once you have applied the colour you need to brush it through so it doesn't look like an obvious line.

I have also used the Chanel brow compact with a waxy kind of powder and stiff brush applicator, but it doesn't give such a precise result as a pencil and my brows are so narrow that I need the line to be pretty fine!

Permanent make-up scares me - especially tattooed eyebrows...

imagine looking permanently cross... or permanently aloof...

nah i'd rather experiment with crayons ;)
