Yuck. I hated them first time around. They were never cool and never will be - cheap and nasty design and materials.

They were cool during Britpop, ala Hoxton times.

I like my dad's silver seiko from about 1982.

And blazers with rolled up sleeves weren't, aren't and never will be cool either.

I know a couple of teenagers with these. They couldn't understand why all us 40-somethings were laughing like drains.

i got one for my tenth birthday nearly 30 years ago!. so ugly. there are lovely watches now.

You cheeky feckers. I've got one of those (not in gold though, nor did I pay £60). It's fab, huge yet all it does is light up and beep occasionally. I wear it when I'm dancing to Soft Cell and backcombing my hair.
