Late Indian summer - clothes help please

I need some help finding clothes for both a holiday at easter in the sun and then for later in the year in India - thing that cover me up - long trousers that will be cool and tops with shoulders - also only limited luggage

Can anyone hlep please?

I'd suggest buying some tops and wideleg trousers when you get to India. The colours you get here are much too muted for India - you'll only look like you're going to a funeral Clothes are cheap in India (which city are you visiting?) so you'll get more for your money

oh - its not a holiday where I will be shopping, so thats not really an option....

Most Indian cities have a shop called FABINDIA.They sell absolutely fabulous cotton and silk stuff which will be perfect for the current weather in iNDIA(GOT BACK LAST WEEK).
