Been out to get DD her first shoes - with my DS it wasn't difficult - he fitted a nice pair and off we went. But I went into John Lewis today and the only pair they could find which were even vaguely nice weren't really very nice...IYSWIM. She seems to measure up a 3 F but the shoe we squeezed her foot in ended up a 3.5 G -

Searching round on the internet tonight...came across Pediped shoes? ANyone ever used them and are they suitable for a walking first walker. The web seems to sell them as podiatrist approved type shoes....and they have various stockists here...

Several children i have looked after have used them, they are fine, dry on smooth surfaces but stones etc can be felt, they are similar to us wearing soled slipper socks IMHO
