Have you seen any boys pyjamas like this?

Please help me find a very specific pair of pyjamas for my DS!
He has mild ASD and love love loves vehicles, especially cars. He has been asking for ages for pyjamas with lots of cars on, but I havent seen any.
He desperatly needs new PJs as has outgrown all his, so I bought him a new pair to keep him going with animals on them an d he was heartbroken they didnt have cars on.
I have promised him I'll try my best to find some!

I need size 4-5 years, prefereably long sleeve and long trousers, but not set in stone.
His ideal pair would be one with lots and lots of pictures of cars and other vehicles ALL OVER them in a bright, childish looking way. Have seen a few things that he would love but all in baby section or on sleepsuits as the older boys stuff tends to be a bit more grown up!

Has anyone seen anything like this that can help me please?

PS. If anyone see's a T shirt or other clothing in similar style as well as PJs, would be interested also! Always on the hunt for car themed things

Primark had some great PJs just before Christmas. Maybe try there?

Dotty - those are exactly the sort of thing I am looking for and I did find those in the shop, but they shrunk massively on first wash before they even got to DS and went back straight away!
Sorry, am not being fussy - both very good suggestions

Try sainsburys my DS has mild autism and adores vehicle themed clothes. Got a lovely pair at christmas fromthere in a brushed cotton with cars and tractors all over. Also got some in Zara just recently as well.

Hello we have got these for DS1 and DS2 from Blooming Marvellous but they seem to no longer stock them. I have had a look on ebay (as you can see on link) but can't see right size for your DS. Worth keeping an eye out as one pair has cars etc ALL OVER and my DSs love them.

Egg · 29/01/2010 14:54

Found these also on ebay but they are used. Not sure if that is a problem. Might be too big but better than too small!

MrsDinky · 29/01/2010 20:39

Haven't bought any for a while, and I know the ranges change often, but Primark is where I would look, we have some good ones for small nearly 6 year old covered in robots, footballs etc, quite likely they might do cars.

matalan?

thisisyesterday · 29/01/2010 20:47

i know these are the wrong size, but just wanted a pic of them

these went into the sale in Gap

they had quite a lot left in guildford last time i was there, might be worth a look if you have a local branch.

cookielove · 29/01/2010 20:54

jcb pj's

ebay ones

benfmsmum · 29/01/2010 20:59

Your ds sounds just like mine!! I bought two pairs from Tesco one short sleeved top, one long, one shorts and one long legged trousers.

Also next had 3 pairs with monkeys driving cars on them in various patterns.

NoahAndTheWhale · 29/01/2010 21:04

I got some similar for DS in Ethel Austin I think. Or may have been Primark. He is 6 and they had them in various sizes

NoahAndTheWhale · 29/01/2010 21:06

Similar meaning brushed cotton with lots of pictures of cars on.

benfmsmum · 29/01/2010 21:07

I can't find either of these on the websites though!! If I find them in the shop do you want me to buy them and send them to you??

Georgimama · 29/01/2010 21:10

I got some "Beep Beep!" pyjamas with the T shirt covered in cars with lovely stripey trousers in Ethel Austin. Boots had some with rockets a while ago. I got him a dressing gown in Primark covered in tractors but that was last Christmas.

cookielove · 29/01/2010 21:10

nice but pricey

feedthegoat · 29/01/2010 21:10

Ds has a pair of Disney cars flanelette button up PJ's from Asda with an all over print of small cars. He got them just before Christmas so depends whether they still have them in.

Also Lightning Mcqueen again but I was looking at a hooded jacket in H&M yesterday which again was an all over print of the cars driving on a road. A bit retro looking and not too obviously as mcqueen at first glance.

cookielove · 29/01/2010 21:11

were these posted earlier?

benfmsmum · 29/01/2010 21:13

Feedthegoat - my ds has that jjacket from H&M! He loves driving his toy cars up and down the arms along the road!!

icandi · 29/01/2010 21:21

I got some gorgeous ones with old fashioned racing cars from cath Kidston Love em.

spikemomma · 29/01/2010 22:17

Primark did some blue flannette ones with emergency vehicles on in Dec - they may still have them. They were very nice and really cute. Only cost £5 and wash well.

Dalrymps · 29/01/2010 22:39

These have lots of cars but are age 6-7 yrs...

chegirlsgotheartburn · 29/01/2010 23:48

Skipping to the end because I am tired.

I got some lovely PJs in the john lewis sale.

they are the american type ones. Jersey with skinny legs. They are bright. I dont know if they have any with a car pattern but the ones i have have pirates all over them. They are quite retro looking.

I havent seen them anywhere else

Ethel Austin do the brushed cotton old fashioned ones. They have a repeat pattern all over and are only £4. They have loads of different styles so they may have cars. I buy them in bulk because DS can only wear cotton due to his skin condition. I got fed up of the stretchy ones going all faded and tatty because they all seem to be mainly black or navy.

I have to wash after one wear on 60 and the Ethel Austin ones deal with this very well.
